230 runners, one team: Kolektor at the Ljubljana Marathon
27. 10. 2026
On 17 and 18 October, the streets of Ljubljana came alive for the 30th Ljubljana Marathon. Kolektor’s 230-strong team joined this celebration of running, bringing together employees, their family members, scholarship recipients and retirees. Of our runners, 140 took on the 10 km race, 71 ran the half marathon and 19 completed the longest distance, the 42 km marathon.
This year’s anniversary edition attracted a record number of entries: according to the City of Ljubljana, 33,281 runners registered across all events. Of these, 22,509 signed up for the 10 km, 21 km and 42 km races, and 10,772 for the children’s and school races.
Kolektor’s internal rankings place employees in four categories for the marathon and half marathon, and in a single category for the 10 km race. Family members, retirees and scholarship recipients are not included in these rankings.
The top-performing employees in the marathon were Matej Peljhan, Jure Kuralt and Tim Vončina in Category A; Borut Rudolf, Darjan Vidmar and Simon Žakelj in Category B; and Emil Karlovčec in Category D.
The fastest employees in the half marathon were Benjamin Mlakar, Jaka Šter and Elija Forčesin among the men, and Lena Grošelj and Eva Paušer among the women in Category A; Kristjan Ipavec, Robi Karlin and Marko Kravos among the men, and Mateja Petrič Pavšič among the women in Category B; and Miha Nastran, Jožko Jazbar and Brane Brelih in Category C.
The 10 km race has a single category. Among employees, the top three places went to David Bizjak, Blaž Petrič and Nejc Bergant in the men’s race, and Mojca Zajc, Karla Kosmač and Aleksandra Istenič in the women’s race.
Congratulations to all our runners on your perseverance, determination and every kilometre completed! Whatever the distance you ran or your finishing time, each of you is an important part of Kolektor’s running community.
