Due to age of the equipment in the distribution transformer substation of Slovenska Bistrica which resulted in poor and unstable electricity supply, a need for renewal Due to age of the equipment in the distribution transformer substation of Slovenska Bistrica which resulted in poor and unstable electricity supply, a need for renewal of the substation grew. 110 kV air insulated switchyard was replaced by a new 110 kV GIS switchyard, which need less space and the weather conditions don't affect its operation.
