Slip rings for alternators
A slip ring (in electrical engineering terms) is a method of making an electrical connection through a rotating assembly. Slip rings, also called rotary electrical interfaces, rotating electrical connectors, swivels or electrical rotary joints, are commonly found in electrical generators for AC systems and alternators.
A slip ring consists of a conductive circle or band mounted on a shaft and insulated from it. Electrical connections from the rotating part of the system, such as the rotor of a generator, are made to the ring.
Fixed contacts (brushes) run in contact with the ring, transferring electrical power or signals to the exterior, static part of the system.

Overmoulding of electronics
Main advantages of overmoulding of electronics are protection of the electronics from different environments, such as humidity, temperature and mechanical loads. Where thermoplastic materials prove themselves as not sufficient, we can provide solutions with thermoset materials, which can protect the electronics even in the most extreme working conditions, as are often present in different powertrain applications (gearbox, engine, etc.)
With the overmoulding of the electronics we are reducing substantially the volume, which is normally needed for sufficient protection of such electronics
