Responsability to the natural environment
Our responsibility to environment is based on the Kolektor environmental policy acknowledged and duly realized on part of all companies in the group. Realization of the environmental policy stands for:
- pursuing of legislation and of other requirements appertaining to the environmental aspects of our business operation,
- developing of eco-friendly products,
- sustained mitigating and preventing of environment pollution,
- reducing of energy consumption and raw material consumption,
- applying of eco-friendly materials and technologies,
- reducing and recycling of waste.
Furthermore, realization of the environmental policy includes responsibility to promote the environmental awareness among the employees as well as on the local level. Our responsibility to the natural environment is reflected in certificates of environmental management systems implemented and maintained in most of the companies of the group in accordance with the ISO 14001 international standard.
Responsibility to health and occupational safety
Safety at work and health of all employees is responsibility of the management of each individual company within the Kolektor group.
Fundamental responsibilities of the management in ensuring safety and health are:
- connecting and assigning of duties regarding safety and health to professionals and medical staff,
- taking of measures to ensure fire safety, first aid, and evacuation services,
- informing and training of employees,
- ensuring of equipment and resources,
- performing of periodical controls of the working environment,
- ensuring of medical examinations of employees.
Responsibility to employees
Key factor for business success is qualified, motivated, and efficient staff operating in orderly and creative environment. Being aware that motivators have great influence on work performance, we make sure that:
- employees develop thru continuous training and education;
- employees are provided possibility of changing work fields within the companies of the group;
- inventiveness is subject to material and non-material reward;
- in care for the health of our employees we invest into organized and orderly work environment;
- healthy life style is promoted;

Responsibility to social community
Health and quality of living
Basic care for the health and quality of living is reflected in:
- financing of actions for healthy living;
- investing into the local infrastructure ( Home for the aged, co-financing of medical apparatus, etc.);
- aiding companies and individuals in times of emergency (humanitary actions)
Sports and culture
In the field of sports and culture we support numerous associations and events (tennis club, petanque club, karate club, running club), chess and radio club; we provide recreation facilities and enable participation in mass sport events: we sponsor the festival of the Idrija lace and other cultural events, futher grant scolarships to talented musicians
